Happy Tails

Volunteering for an animal rescue organization can sometimes be emotionally overwhelming. There are so many homeless animals, and there aren't enough families for all of them. It's all worthwhile, though, when you see people smiling as they carry one of your little charges off to a new home.

Thank you for giving our cats loving families! Please send us a letter or email and let us know how they're doing.

An update from Panther's Family
Hi!
We adopted the young cat Panther, formally known as Dinky. Wow, is he ever a delight. Very well behaved and bold. He loves to play tag with our four pound poodle and our golden retriever doesn't mind sharing the water dish with him. Great job raising such a fine cat. Thanks for all you do. The Pearson’s in Santa Barbara.

Panther at the cattery. He was still called "Dinky" then. He was the tiniest little kitten when he arrived. He fit into the palm of a hand and had to be fed from a dropper. Foster parents Linda and Wolf Hess got so attached to the little guy they almost couldn't let him go, but other kittens needed them more.

Now Pather is a big, brave kitten who eats on his own . . .
and isn't afraid to stand up to his new doggy friends when they try to take his yellow ball.

We miss you Panther! Have a happy life.
