J.T., the cat in the photo above, was adopted from VIVA along with a litter mate when he was just a kitten. He was much-loved and lived a very happy life with his favorite person until his death in 2004 at 15 years of age.
We have several goals at VIVA: one of them is to find such happy, permanent homes for the 150 or so cats living in our no-kill, cage-free cattery. Another of our goals is to decrease the population of unwanted cats by helping the people in our community get their cats spayed and neutered.
